TeaCabinet Privacy Policy

TeaCabinet (“the App”) is developed by Warner Creates LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy describes how we handle information in connection with the App.


Information We Collect

The App stores all data locally on your device:

  • Your tea collection (names, types, brew parameters, notes, photos)
  • App preferences and settings (temperature units, amount units, Quick Brew presets)
  • Storage tracking data (amounts, servings)

This data never leaves your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data. No analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used.


Crash Reporting

This App uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to collect anonymous crash reports when the App encounters an error. This helps us identify and fix bugs to improve app stability.

Data collected includes: crash stack traces, device model, operating system version, app state at the time of the crash, and a pseudonymous installation identifier. This data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you personally. No names, email addresses, or account information are collected.

Crash data is transmitted securely via HTTPS to Firebase servers and is retained for 90 days. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf under their Data Processing and Security Terms.

Legal basis (EU/EEA users): We process crash data under legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) to maintain and improve app stability. You may opt out of crash reporting at any time in the App’s Settings.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting as described above. No analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or user tracking tools are integrated.

If cloud sync is added in a future update, this policy will be updated to reflect any data collection associated with that feature. You will be notified of material changes.


Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in your device’s app-internal storage and is not accessible to other apps. Photos are stored within the app’s private directory.

On Android, the app uses SQLite (via SQLDelight) for structured data and DataStore for preferences. On iOS, the same cross-platform storage mechanisms are used. All data remains on-device.


Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can delete all app data at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the App
  • Clearing the App’s data in your device settings
  • Deleting individual teas within the App

Your Rights

We do not collect personal information, so there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete on our servers. All data is under your control on your device.

European Economic Area (GDPR): Since we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, GDPR data subject rights do not apply to server-side data. All data remains locally on your device under your control.

California (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. We do not collect personal information for commercial purposes.


Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.


Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
